McCormick Stillman Railroad Park

I am participating in Sundays in My City hosted by Unknown Mami.

Yesterda we visited McCormick Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale, Arizona for the hubby's company picnic and had a blast.  It was a beautiful spring day in Arizona and Jelly Belly had FUN playing and running in open grass!
This park has plenty of playgrounds, lots of trees and ramadas that provide lots of shade.  We saw lots of families enjoying their picnic lunches, quite a few birthday parties and a few other company picnics. The highlight for Jelly Belly was riding the Pacific Railroad train and the antique carousel.  It was tough to convince her when it was time to head home. I highly recommend visiting this place. Kids and adults will enjoy! I wish we didn't live so far away from it!

Be sure to visit:

Oh wow! What an awesome place for kids. My whole family loves trains, and I know my son would love to ride on that big black train. Thanks for stopping today for SIMC, it was lovely to 'meet' you! :-D

Oh, yes. This park would be right up my alley way. I adore old steam engines and things from the 19th century. Such a blast of nostalgia. Thanks for the walk-thru.

Love those old trains; we try to go to the Tennessee Valley Railway every so often to look at them. My son loves trains.
